When you work from home, there are some perks. Whether you are a stay-at-home mom or dad or you have your business set up at home, one of the challenges is trying to get into a routine. In many ways, I envy people who work from 9 to 5 who can have separation when work is done. This doesn't mean they don't come home to a whole bunch of tasks that take up the entire evening and weekend but there's a definitive separation.
One of the ways I have managed to keep my sanity is to have a shower or a bath before dinner time. It allows me to feel like I'm shifting gears at a certain time of day.

At the asylum where the main character Ian is staying in the BLACKGUARD VIDEO, they used bathtubs as a very creepy therapeutic method. I am sure the people that endured this never wanted to be there again from the negative association.
I think about how many beautiful things in our world have been used for a terrible purpose. Ian has a very special gift and can identify the history behind most of those patterns which have set our society on the wrong course. Insects and animals have been abused for entertainment and testing purposes. The children back in the 1930s were guinea pigs in experiments, not to further science but to line the pockets and inflate the egos of arrogant doctors.
It is really important to remember that while today's children do not experience their lobotomy in the form of a permanent ice pick procedure, we are in either numbing them with medication to steal that special part of their personality or we are just corralling them into other sectors of the barnyard.
I absolutely hate control. I believe in management and a certain amount of order but not at the expense of any individual stifling their creativity or their talents.
Instead of making everyone fit into a mold or a box, it is vital that we get back to the art of discovery. Everyone is an individual and should be allowed to introduce themselves as the authentic person they are.
I hope your bathtime is filled with bubbles and rubber duckies. After you've taken this opportunity to reset, I hope you will feel welcome on this playground to discover the original intention for you.
