Gone are the days where 'crazy' is much of a threat anymore. People seem to think dealing with a crazy person has become the norm. When someone gets that look in their eyes, you are supposed to run. Now, finding someone who seems calm, quiet and peaceful is actually a bigger threat. What are they up to?
For me, I have visited this place so many times...where my brain vacations from my body and my heart detaches from my soul.
Being institutionalized isn't really terrifying for any of us who have suffered. It can be like a resort. When life inundates us with too much information and our hard drive is full, we long for an island to reset to zero.

I use to be afraid to be alone in silence because then I had to confront my own thoughts. Now I am at a place which is surreal and I feel like art & music are the only vehicles to laugh at it all.
Had I not started Idiot Savant, I would be put away. Now, I can escape to this beautifully, ugly world where I can make fun of tyrants, laugh at their behavior and take back the creative freedom we were ALL stripped of.
I'm not crazy, I just look that way. ;)
