Taking flight is remarkable. Leaving depression is miraculous. However, I must continue to remind myself that the air has its own source of susceptibilities.
Crawling on my belly is a skill I better always keep. Even after my wings strengthened to fly from being forced to, I have had to understand the lesson in another kind of vulnerability. When you are in open air and seemingly enjoying yourself, you are under risk of being pinged off by hunters.
I finally understood why I needed a ton of time before ascending to a higher place. The target on my back becomes more visible. I just have options to land behind a rock from time to time and catch a breath.
I still suck at holding my breath under water. Building lung capacity is the ultimate strength in one's arsenal. It saves you from all of those people stepping on your head or restraining you under water to save themselves from the undertow.
There must be an ultimate creature which can fly, crawl, run and swim.
I suppose if you don't put yourself into a bad situation, you won't feel the need to run away.
I tend to tread on dangerous plains, though...right in the middle of traps. It is unfortunately where I need to affect change and so into battle I go!
ROCK ON!
